Outreach





Good Shepherd serves those in need in our local community, as well as around the world. Organizations that we regularly support include:
  • Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services
  • Madeline's House, Southside Center for Violence Prevention and Piedmont Crisis Center
  • Boys Home of Virginia
  • Chanco on the James
  • Christmas Sharing Foundation of Dinwiddie County
  • Melvin B. Alsbrook Scholarship Fund
The ECW spearheads collection of Thanksgiving meals to be distributed by the local school to those families in need. School supplies are also collected during the late summer to be distributed by the local elementary school. 

Our January Spaghetti Dinner is our newest outreach to the community.  All proceeds are used locally.
